Festival Gives Riverhead The Blues
Joseph Leo

Heather Hardy then took the stage with a violin and a smile. Hardy and Friends played blues/rock odysseys, systematically abandoning the initial structure of their songs to allow for a greater freedom of expression. While each band member was excellent, Hardy's violin was most superb. She plays the violin in an unorthodox, provocative and technically superb manner, and the result is a uniquely entrancing sound that you could listen to all day long and still want more.
